These days many homeowners aren’t able to secure a home equity loan to make needed improvements due to the tight lending practices we are currently experiencing. Details of the FHA 203(k) Loan
Your FHA 203k loan includes the money required to purchase your new house as well as all of the additional money required to complete any repairs/improvements to make your house a home, all in one mortgage.
You still get a low fixed rate (usually slightly higher than a regular FHA loan)
